Distribution of Zakat al-Fitr for 250 children in Bamyan province:
The Zakat al-Fitr amount equals three kilograms of staple food like wheat, rice, corn, raisins, or dates. Typically, wheat and rice are common choices. Each person should pay three kilograms of wheat or rice, or its cash equivalent, as Zakat al-Fitr.
This distribution was carried out one day before Eid al-Fitr by the HASCO team, supported by our partner organization and generous donors. It brought great joy to these children.
