Emergency Food Package Distribution in Kabul

As of the last update in January 2022, Afghanistan faced high levels of poverty and hunger. According to the World Bank report, about 55% of the population lived below the poverty line and almost 90% of the Afghan people were exposed to poverty due to economic shocks, conflicts and natural disasters.

And people were experiencing severe hunger, the United Nations estimated that about 14 million people, nearly half the population, needed humanitarian assistance, including food aid. Rates of chronic malnutrition were particularly high among children, with an estimated 2.4 million children under the age of five suffering from acute malnutrition.

However, please note that these statistics may have changed since then due to the evolving situation in Afghanistan.

However, with the financial support of the partner organization (CHILDHOOD) and the cooperation of our Kabul team, we were able to distribute emergency food packages to 40 working children in the west of Kabul.

Many children and families need food. Let's unite and support these children and their families

Your contribution will be valuable and unforgettable.
