HASCO School
Children are the most vulnerable in society. They need protection and support in order to have a comfortable, safe, and sustainable life so they may pursue their education. Unfortunately, the number of working children worldwide is estimated at 160 million and is increasing daily. Afghanistan has one of the highest numbers of working children in the world. High rates of poverty, insecurity, displacement and natural hazards mean sending school-age children out to work is often essential to the survival of families. This places children across Afghanistan at significant risk.

A 2021 humanitarian needs overview for Afghanistan indicates that the COVID-19 pandemic has worsened the situation further. Loss of jobs, coupled with school closures to contain the spread of the virus, likely precipitated increases in child labor.
The economic downturn has seen poverty skyrocket in Afghanistan. According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA), almost 50% of the population is now in need of humanitarian support – 18.4 million people – with 90% of Afghans living below the poverty line (less than USD 2 a day)” ECHO 2021.
Since the Taliban takeover, this number has increased to 23 million and the economic crisis in Afghanistan has reached catastrophic levels. The entire nation is presently facing the most devastating humanitarian crisis in the world.
Children are at especially high risk of starvation and exploitation. The best way to combat this is through economic relief and education.

We are operating an emergency aid project and primary school in Bamyan Afghanistan. Our mission is to raise funds to help vulnerable Afghan children currently working in precarious conditions, enroll them in our school, and provide additional support to their families. We have provided winter clothes, food, and fuel for cooking/heating for these children and have added them to our enrollment list.
Conditions are rapidly deteriorating as the majority of international aid has been withdrawn and temperatures continue to drop.
Please join us in bringing relief to our friends and neighbors as they struggle to keep warm during these winter months, and we strive to give them an education.
Your generous donations will go directly to providing emergency relief to these children as well covering the costs of their education and monthly stipend, so that they may have an opportunity to rest and redirect their efforts toward a better future for them and their families.
Thank you for partnering with us to bring aid and education to the most vulnerable members of our community.
HASCO team became a great hope for a bright future for these children in the most difficult conditions. and provided them with free education.
We have 300 children including boys and girls in our educational center. We teach subjects such as English, mathematics, Dari and painting. and we still decide to hold a computer training class for these children as soon as possible and with your support.
There are many children who drop out of school for various reasons. In the survey we conducted in Bamyan province, nearly one thousand children need education and are registered in our organization to be invited for education. Unfortunately, we cannot cover these figures due to financial problems or lack of sponsors, and we need your support.

We continue to provide meals for these children on various occasions and maintain a daily meal plan for 20 orphans. Our commitment extends beyond mere sustenance; we're dedicated to meeting the fundamental needs of these children and their families, fostering an environment where their interest in education flourishes, paving the way for a brighter future. we ardently believe that no child should be subjected to menial labor in our society. No child should endure the harsh conditions of working in the streets under snow, rain, sun, or heat. It is truly disheartening to witness children forced into such laborious tasks. Children are not meant for hard labor; they deserve nurturing care and access to their basic needs, ensuring they can study safely, become educated individuals, and contribute meaningfully to their families and society in the future. Our mission is to create a world where every child's potential is nurtured and protected.
We recently celebrated two rounds of graduations at our school, marking significant milestones in our journey towards our goals and a brighter future for children.
These ceremonies not only symbolize academic achievements but also represent the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. With each graduate taking a step closer to their dreams, we are filled with pride and optimism for the opportunities that lie ahead.
These graduations serve as reminders of the transformative power of education and the impact it has on shaping the future of individuals and communities. As we bid farewell to our graduates, we are confident that they are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values to navigate the challenges of tomorrow and contribute positively to society
